Prolonged diarrhea and fatigue
How Can You Stop Diarrhea Without Medicine?
Acute and Chronic Diarrhea Causes
Diarrhea is a common form of digestive complaints or infections. It causes frequent and excessive bowel discharge in the form of abnormally watery stools and stomach pain.
- If you experience any of the symptoms described above, you may experience an acute case of diarrhea. Acute diarrhea lasts for one or two weeks while you are temporarily ill. Or maybe you have chronic diarrhea that lasts for more than a few weeks.
- Acute diarrhea can be one of your body's best defense mechanisms against a temporary infection or a virus, such as stomach flu.
- Acute diarrhea is usually easy to treat without medication or serious intervention. However, chronic diarrhea is more problematic. It can cause dehydration and nutrient deficiencies if not addressed properly.
Prolonged diarrhea causes
Causes of acute diarrhea
- Food poisoning
- Travelers diarrhea
- Stomach flu
Prolonged diarrhea causes
- Irritable bowel syndrome (PDS)
- Leaky gut (Leaky gut)
- Crohn's disease
- SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth)
- Ulcerative colitis
- Bacterial infection or parasites
- Food allergy or sensitivity (such as gluten or dairy)
- Parasites such as dienamoeba fragilis or giardia lamblia. Parasites can cause more serious health problems such as anemia, malabsorption and malnutrition.
Holistic & orthomolecular approach to long term diarrheal causes
If someone has chronic conditions, is often sick and chronically tired, then there is no point in fighting symptoms.
In my practice I look deeper into the cause of disorders: intestines, intestinal flora, pathogens or hormonal disturbances. That is why laboratory studies and extensive questionnaires are indispensable in our holistic orthomolecular therapy.
Do you suffer from your intestines, prolonged diarrhea, cramps, food intolerance or do you want more energy? Then I'd love to hear from you!
In my practice, a perfect combination of herbs, enzymes, pre- and probiotics (healthy bacteria) and anti-inflammatory agents are used to fight pathogens and gut to cure.
Do you want your intestines to function optimally again and thus boost your health? Then I hear grain from you!

Relieve prolonged diarrhea and fatigue by eating
I. Eat calming foods that are easy to digest
- Eat light. The more food you eat, the harder your digestive organs have to work. You probably won't have too much of an appetite while you have diarrhea, so try to eat small amounts that are spread throughout the day.
- Simple foods that are easy to digest - stick to a diet of bland foods like simple whole grains, apples, bananas, and rice for the first few days. These foods are easy to digest and can help the fiber improve bowel movements.
- Linseed oil. It has been shown to reduce the duration of diarrhea.
- Vegetable. Steaming vegetables are easier to digest than raw.
- Herbal tea with raw honey and ginger helps soothe the stomach and intestines and reduce irritation.
II. How do you stop diarrhoea? Avoid this food in case of chronic and acute diarrhoea
How do you stop diarrhea? Relieve prolonged diarrhea and fatigue by eating to avoid
- Dairy - Processed dairy can be difficult to digest and can make diarrhea worse. However, unprocessed cultured dairy products, such as yogurt or kefir, are high in probiotics that can support intestinal function.
-
Possible allergens - such as gluten, nuts, shellfish and dairy products
- Processed fats and oils. Too much fat can irritate your sensitive stomach and make diarrhea worse. Beware of refined vegetable oils, fast foods, cheesy foods, processed meats, or fried foods.
- Added sugar and artificial sweeteners - Bacteria like to eat sugar and sugar in many cases reduces the immune system and digestive tract.
- Caffeine - Caffeine can stimulate the muscles in the digestive tract, increasing bowel movements and cramps.
- Carbonated and sugar drinks
- Alcohol
- Potential foods with FODMAP carbohydrates. Responses vary from person to person, but problematic foods can include: pears, oats, beans, legumes, wheat, corn, soy, potatoes and any type of bran.
III. Keep drinking with prolonged diarrhea and fatigue
Relieve prolonged diarrhea and fatigue by drinking.
- Drinking enough water is critical when you are losing so much stool. To avoid dehydration, try to drink about 1 glass of fluid per hour. You can also get fluids by drinking homemade bone broth, which is rich in nutrients (such as amino acids and electrolytes). Herbal teas including ginger, peppermint, licorice root, fennel or pomegranate tea (without caffeine) that can also help soothe your stomach.
- You can also add hymalaya water in water for electrolyte balance. Through diarrhea you lose many minerals such as sodium, potassium
IV. take enough rest
- Avoid excessive or tense exercise.
- Chances are you will feel weak and drain a little and may not sleep well.
- Give your body a chance to recover by getting enough sleep (8 hours a night or more).
- Take it easy and try to keep your stress level low.
Q. Do a lab test for parasites and bacteria.
To make sure that bacteria and parasites are not the cause of your intestinal problems or diarrhea make one stool examination.
Symptoms of parasites in your gut
- a variable and pulpy stool
- fatigue
- flatulence
- pain in joints
- mucus in the stool
- abdominal pain/cramps
- bloated feeling
- excessive gas
- diarrhea
- constipation
- nausea
- weight loss
It is quite possible that you have intestinal parasites. Parasites don't have to be big. You can get a lot of trouble from the small microscopic critters such as Dientamoeba, Giardia lamblia or Blastocystis, from the secretions of these intestinal parasites.
Trouble with intestines and fatigue | Parasites | Holistic approach
In my practice I often see people with a parasitic infection. Unfortunately, mainstream medicine does not pay enough attention to this problem. There are different types of parasites, and each parasite requires different treatment.
I offer a holistic approach to treating a parasitic infection. Herbal remedies, dietary supplements, essential oils, and other natural therapies can be extremely effective in combating the parasites in your gut.
VI. Trouble with intestines and fatigue | Nutritional supplements
- Probiotics help fight infection and can help re-colonize the gut with healthy bacteria.
- Digestive enzymes (before eating), these enzymes will aid in the absorption of nutrients.
- L-Glutamine. Glutamine is an amino acid that helps repair the digestive tract, especially important for people with chronic diarrhea. Look after! People with inflammation, panic attacks or ADHD (due to glutamate) should not use glutamine.
- Aloe Vera Juice (30-60 ml per day). Aloe is healing for the lining of the digestive system and easy to break down.
- A powder of linseed or chia seeds (2-3 tablespoons per day). Soluble fiber found in seeds can help reduce bowel movements and the frequency of diarrhea.
Now a few months later I feel like a new person! Recommended!!!

diarrhea, frequent watering, fatigue, muscle aches, day it was on medication for the heart
Call me, I can help you.
i also have medication after a heart attack 6 weeks ago. Have been with diarrhea for 4 weeks.
I would contact your doctor first. Medicines can have side effects such as diarrhea.
If this is not the case, we can investigate further via stool

Dear Elena, thank you for your quick help. In addition to fatigue and abdominal pain, I had many vague complaints. You can't go to a doctor with these kinds of complaints. You get medicine right away without them listening to you. I immediately felt better after the first treatment! Until next time 🙂 Love. Julie
Thank you Julie! I'm glad I could help you 🙂 Everything comes your way if you need it and especially if you believe in it 🙂 until next time
I would like to have a stool test done. Where do I begin? I live in Rotterdam.
It is not a problem. You will be sent home a kit. Collect the big message and send it to the lab.
They send the results to me. Then we will discuss everything and you will receive a treatment plan.
I have also sent you an email with all the details. Gr.Elena
